Abbot’s Hall is a Queen Anne House in the grounds of the Museum of East Anglian Life. Now over 300 years old, the house and its inhabitants have long played an important part in Stowmarket’s history. This year Abbot’s Hall is opening to the public for the first time, telling the story of life in the house, the town, and the wider region through a series of new displays. On this website you can explore the history of the house and find out more about some of the objects on display.
